Filter:
Eheim 2227 Wet Running with 550 L/h @25 W--Brilliant piece of kit, simply the best but most expensive of all the filters I've used. A recent upgrade to the float chamber has improved even more its effectiveness!
Heater:
Undergravel Heating Cable Hobbyfish, 20 W power, 24 h / day
Keeps the tank at 26c. A bit high until I can buy a thermostat, probably boosted by the 120 watts of lighting!
Lighting:
Flourescent Tubes
No. 1: Aquaglo 42" with 30 W, period of lighting 12 h/day, change every 6 months. First use at 01/07/2002
No. 2: Aquaglo 42 " with 30 W, period of lighting 12 h/day, change every 6 months. First use at 01/07/2002
No. 3: Sunglo 42" with 30 W, period of lighting 12 h/day, change every 6 months. First use at 01/02/2002
